Dear parent / carer,
If you are reading this, I assume that either you or a member of your family is self-isolating, shielding or has tested positive or is awaiting COVID-19 test results. I hope that you are all managing and are not finding everything too challenging? The wellbeing of the Bishopton community is, as always, our first priority. The government have instructed us to provide remote learning contingency plans for you to use with your children at home that match, as closely as possible, the learning sequence which is happening in school.
If you or your child becomes unwell during this period, please email the school office and let us know as we do not expect children to complete remote learning tasks if they are sick or if you are unable to support them. We do understand that this time will be challenging for us all.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REMOTE LEARNING CONTAINED HERE IS INTENDED TO BE ACCESSED WHERE ABSENCE IS DUE TO COVID-19 SYMPTOMS OR ISOLATION. IF YOU ARE UNWELL FOR ANY OTHER REASON, PLEASE DO NOT UNDERTAKE THESE ACTIVITIES AND FOCUS YOUR ENERGY ON GETTING YOURSELF WELL AGAIN BEFORE RETURNING TO SCHOOL.
Please support your child(ren) with their home learning. We would like you to select 3 pieces of work from different subject areas to send to me over the course of the 5 days, for example, a piece of maths, English and art perhaps. This can be sent to the bespoke year group email account (Year12BTP@welearn365.com) so that I can see what you have been doing. You might choose to send me a Word document, a photograph of you working or a screenshot of a finished piece of work. Please continue to read a minimum of 3 times per week and continue to practise your number skills using Numbots and Timestables Rockstars.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via the year group email account as mentioned above.
