Friends of Bishopton School:

The ‘Friends of Bishopton School’ organisation is run entirely by a committee of volunteer parents and school staff. We devote our time to raising valuable funds for the school and organising fun events for the pupils and their families.

Each year we have a calendar of events that have previously included termly discos, seasonal fayres, end of year Summer picnic and cake sales to name a few. We provide ice lollies for the children at sports day, refreshments for the open day, sports kits for the school teams and we have, in the past, subsidised a Christmas party/jingle ball disco with a gift for each child who attended. We also provide funding for the school to host various theme days/weeks throughout the year (e.g., Science week, Cultural week) and supplement each class’s purchasing for equipment and learning materials.

All are welcome to attend any of our meetings to find out what is going on and to get involved. The dates of these will be communicated through the school newsletter and approved social media platforms.

We look forward to seeing you at our events and thank you for your support as a Friend of Bishopton School.

Rosebird Donation

Just before Christmas we were delighted to be presented with a cheque for £1,000 from the Rosebird Community Hall. They are a non-profit organisation and as a result of having a good year they decided to make donations to the PTA's of local schools, recognising the work they do and their fundraising efforts.

We have set aside this money for a special project or purchase and will be asking for ideas at our meetings.

If you would like information on booking the hall for Children’s Parties or events please follow the link below to their website
