Our Autumn One Topic is: WorldWar II

World War II- a time of conflict and huge change across the world. Though the events began in Europe, by 1945 the war had spread much further and the events which occurred during this time have had a huge impact on the modern day world. During our study of World War II we will be taking an in depth look at Dunkirk, the Battle of Britain, the Holocaust and how Oppenheimer's invention brought an end to the war.

Accompanied by two superb texts, The Umbrella Mouse and When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, Year 6 will be fully immersed in learning about World War II.
