Year 3

Welcome to Year 3!

This year sees the continuation of two parallel Year 3 classes that will work in tandem.

Miss Allard continues to teach Year 3 supported by Lauren.

Mrs Clarke (and Miss Stepien) are leading the second Year 3 class supported by Ms Thruston.

We have added some new exciting topics alongside inspiring texts.

For the Autumn Term, our topics will be:

  • Tribal Tales, Through the Ages where we will travel back to prehistoric times to learn about the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages through ancient objects and astonishing mystical monuments that reveal the secrets of how the people of Britain developed.
  • Tremors, Rocks, Relics and Rumbles where we will discover the dangerous and ferocious world of natural disasters, 'visiting' the ancient city of historic Pompeii and find out about the properties of rocks shaped by the Earth’s breathtaking power.
