Autumn Term 1

Moon Zoom 

This half term our topic is called 'Moon Zoom'. The children will be learning about Neil Armstrong and the moon landing in 1969. We will also look at Tim Peake and the work he carried out in space. Our key texts will be 'Man on the Moon' and 'Look up'. From these texts we will produce a variety of pieces of writing in different genres. The children will explore sculpture in art making a clay rocket. 

As we ended our topic 'Moon Zoom' the children took part in our wow out day completing lots of creative activities including art work and baking meteor cakes.
