Visit from a guide dog.



The whole school today have been privileged to have a very moving assembly by The Big Secret Sound featuring Andrews James, singing the new single ‘Soldier on’ in memory of Private Conrad Lewis & the 447 brave soldiers killed in Afghanistan.  The aim of the single is to raise money and awareness and show support for our troops in the Forces



A 'Mad Scientist' visited Bishopton today - we were shown lots of exciting experiments and many of us have decided to join Science club to explore this further!



Today we were joined by the collage for a special E-Safety assembly! We learned some important messages about the internet.



Today we visited the Gurdwara Sikh Temple and learned a lot about the Sikh religion and culture




Today a Mad Scientist joined us for a special assembly. She showed us how to make dragon flames, dry ice potions and liquids disappear! Lots of us are so keen, we are joining the Halloween - Science special after school club!!!



We are being shown how to read poetry expressively and in varied styles by a local poet




The local police helped us to learn about road safety and how to stay safe riding a bicycle



We were very inspired when Caroline Clough led a writing workshop for the children of Bishopton. She signed the books we bought and we enjoy reading them during our lunchtimes 





Robotic engineers from France and Warwickshire ICT services joined us for a Robotics day!



Stratford college perform a 'Keeping Healthy' assembly and teach us why it is important





We visited a local church to learn more about Christianity and the history of the building



We have learned about road and cycle safety in our local area and used these skills during our residential trip



We enjoyed the opportunity to sketch historical buildings in Stratford




We have been practicing our athletics all week as some of our children are representing the school at the Stratford Sports Competition



Here we are performing at Stratford High School as part of the Literacy 'Dreams and Wishes' project   




Experts from the Birthplace Trust joined us for a musical afternoon, we really enjoyed dancing to the Tudor music!



Some of our parents lead specialised workshops to help us to further our learning experiences




Barclays Bank have discussed the value of money and shown us ways in which we can help others to value things



The firemen led an assembly and taught us how to be safe at home



We invited our parents into school to come

and share our learning, they were very impressed to see the work we produced this term!



We joined other children for a sandcastle competition in Weston Supermare



The mayor visited us for a presentation of the Jubilee coin during our Jubilee celebrations



A local brass band performed in our music assembly, it has inspired some of us to learn a musical instrument this term!



We enjoyed working with the children from Welcome Hills School in an arts and crafts project
